Default Audi: The other RS

Any of you guys looking into the Audi tt rs? It looks pretty good, and would probably make a good daily driver. It has the new 5 cylinder turbo and 360hp for the U.S.A. I plan to put it on my short list.

i have driven it. not a bad little car.
well built, sexy interior, little/no space in the rear.
sounds like a gallardo, not 'very' fast though, fast enough for a daily.
front-end is heavy, so handles like a blunt instrument although has good grip.
gearbox ok, but not excellent. ride is firm-ish
recaro seats, good.
i like the cayman r much better, but the audi is a little more discreet.

I actually got mine - it is awesome. You will really like it. Which color/options are you getting?

Ibis white with the Alcantara interior. Titanium and tech packages and front license plate delete. Discovered the Fourtitude forums last nite which was nice, had been hoping for an Audi forum with a relaxed helpful "Rennlisty" vibe.

Yes - join that forum, lot of good info on the TT RS. Good choice in color/specs. I went with Suzuka gray, sport exhaust/titanium pack, front plate delete even though it is illegal in my state.

It's illegal here too, but I only get written for it once every five years or so, so I consider it a small price to keep the car looking clean. The Suzuka gray was definitely in the running as a close second choice, but went with white as an homage to my beloved 993

Agonized over the spoiler delete but decided to keep the fixed spoiler. Didn't think the aluminum splitters would be that noticeable on a white car. I figured the carbon fiber mirrors were slightly over the top and wouldn't weather the Texas heat very well anyways, as my cars don't have the luxury of living the life of a garage princess

Am wrestling over the clear bra issue before I pick her up. I have never had one. Did you have that done to yours?
