I wonder when people will wake up and realize no one really wants this crap. People buy Tesla because of name recognition built with the roadster and model S. They buy a 30k Sh!tbox model 3 and think its a status symbol. Every other EV is sitting on lots. Even Porsche is having a hard time selling taycans. My dealer has a "taycan graveyard" of 12+ that are waiting on new battery sleds. The Boxster E is going to be a disaster. I dont really care about the macans, its a NARP even with a gas engine.

As someone who drove an Audi etron for almost 4 years and now has a ‘24 BMW iX M60 I can tell you that people do want fantastic BEV vehicles that make essentially the best daily drivers, and can be incredibly cheap to run; (as long as you have access to home charging).

The problem with the Ocean was Fisker himself: the car was no where near ready to be released when it was. There wasn’t the infrastructure in place to sell it; deliver it; maintain it; update it, etc. It was a disaster always waiting to happen.

No doubt Henrik and his wife profited handsomely after the ****/IPO, but everyone else got royally screwed. It’s a shame as the Ocean as designed could have been a really good EV; it’s the execution that ruined it.

But there are some incredibly good BEVs out there.

EV manufacturers in China are dropping like flies.
Bankrupt over and over and over.

I'll just stick with my VW Golf R & Porsche Cayman 718 GT4.

Maybe, but not Chinese EV manufacturers.

When you do it right, it matters.
