Been back there 8 days, SA isnt saying or doing much. Emailed SM and ZERO response...might drive 1 hr out there and shake things up and/or call PCNA for help..

Looking for a replacement for my 2014 PGTS and almost ordered a new one but reconsidered for several reasons but one reason is the impact of turbocharging on the exhaust sound. Ive learned the hard way that the motor is a very important variable for me with regards to ownership enjoyment. Turbos give better engine response but the exhaust sound is not the same. I dont have a need for a back seat, have SUVs for that so this coupe may suffice. Handling will be less than the PGTS, but they are fewer opportunities for fun on my commute these days due to higher traffic loads. Had lots of time to think about this because of the difficulty getting an Panamera GTS allocation and the dealer games.

I drive a GSF and have got an LC500 on order, and I can tell you one thing for sure ( if you enjoy the engine sound and experience of a 911 ), you are going to get hooked on the the 5.0 Naturally Aspirated V8 of the LC.
The 2UR-GSE engine is a master piece never to be duplicated ( similar to BMW's S85 V10 but more reliable ).
I can own as many P cars as I can, but will not let go of my GSF. BULLET PROOF

@BRN9121 I contacted the Local Lexus sales staff and just need to sign the order next week for the LC500 Not sure how long it will take but they have an allocation available. Im excited the dealer is building a new facility near me but away from the city.

Of course folks are gonna dump on Lexus in a Porsche forum, and true, a Lexus is certainly not a Porsche. But I think the brand deserves at least a look, if build quality, comfort and yes, style is what you're after, in a vehicle that will run for a LONG time without costing you $$. I recently dumped my Benz CLS450 because I was tired of getting rides back to the service department from a flatbed. I replaced it with an IS 350 F Sport and don't feel like I've given up one iota of quality, comfort or driving performance. True, very different cars, but the Benz is $30k more expensive. For me, Mercedes is no mas. And that said, a 991.2 Targa remains my aspirational vehicle...YMMV..

For the same, if not less, price, I would get the C8 Corvette.

Previously owned a 2016 targa4gts manual. I now have a 2024 LC500 convertible. The LC is a special car. Not as nimble as the targa but just as fast, sounds better and higher quality throughout. Different cars but no regrets on the LC. Rumors are out there that this is the last year of the V8.

Congratulations in advance. I was given an allocation for an LC which consisted of the dealer reviewing the cars arriving at the port and seeing if it matched my specifications. Small market here so ordering a specific configuration was not possible from this dealer. I gave up and bought something else with a V8.
