OP: All I heard was you lusting after something beautiful and loud... By the end of the weekend you'll miss your reliable and familiar Porsche. Wait to see how the Levante ages and then consider jumping into another Maserati.

I guess it also depends on what year of the Maserati you're looking at. The early ones look just like the later ones and are inexpensive to BUY (not repair). I've seen them trade in the mid-20s to low 30s.

I've never had a Maserati, but the car you mention WAS just about as exotic looking as anything I've seen on the road.

With that being said the resale is generally not going to be as easy on the Maserati as it is on the Porsche. Porsche's sell super quick and the enthusiast group far outnumbers the Maserartis so if you are looking for "liquidity" in the car it's not going to be there.

I’d keep the 991, and this comes from someone who also traded his Cayenne GTS for a Levante, what an SUV!
