Default A Mcl 600LT?

Is anyone else excited about the Mclaren 600LT soon to be revealed? At the likely price point, I think it will give 3RS and 2RS a good run for its money. Keen to hear what everyone’s thoughts are....

I'm very interested, but not as a customer. I think it should be very quick (and pricey). Particularly fast where I live at high altitude (turbos have a big advantage) - should be significantly faster than GT3 or RS here. But I'm going to stick with NA Manual as long as possible

Until McLaren can increase their dealership network, all of their cars (for me) are more fun to drive than own.

600R is what I'm told it will be called - very excited for the Spider, not sure I will get a Coupe or not. Have a deposit down but will see the specs first.

McLaren does spiders better than anyone due to the carbon tub advantages so for me that's the sweet spot in the range until we get the 750LT Spider.

Info will be released on 6/28 at 13.00 BST and will make first public appearance at Goodwood FoS. I'm leaving judgement until I see pictures without the camo on - not sure I'm fully blown away by those exhausts like the 918?? But no doubt it will be very fast and have all the things the 570S missed - downforce and more grip (larger tires) - but in all fairness to the 570 its design brief was never to have downforce and large tires!

No local dealer or service makes ownership unattractive. Some great deals on lightly used 570S. Understand quality control is improving with current Macca products.

720S is a giant killer. Wish the engine sounded better like AMG GTS.

Love the top mounted exhausts on the 600LT.

I dropped the GT car BS and will have whatever they end up calling this coming instead, picked up a 650s spider in the meantime and the thing has just been unreal fun. It's a totally different car than anything I've had in my history of car buying. Better later than never I guess!

Good for you. My next toy will probably be the new Vantage S with a Manual which could be 2 years. Let them work out the kinks in the base model

Until then will enjoy my .2. but I can not keep a car for too long

More will come who chose a similar path as yours.

Teaser images have been circulating on Instagram, really love the placement of the exhaust exit similar to the 918 style.... I bet it will be killer. Not in the market for a McLaren but if I was that would be the one if it's anything like what they did with the 675LT

This will be no where near the price of a GT3 in fact I bet it will be upper 200s

While it's exciting, the headlight design is getting really old. Hope they put some 720s touch to it.
