Hey everyone — long-time Porsche admirer, first-time owner. Just picked up a 991.2 Targa 4S in GT Silver and couldn't be happier with it. Truly is nothing like a 911. I've been wanting one my whole life.



Honestly got a bit lucky on this one — an exotic dealer needed to move it quickly and it basically fell into my lap. Hard to say no.

I've been lurking here for a while doing research and this community was incredibly helpful, so figured it was time to introduce myself. Based in Vancouver, BC.

Congratulations and Welcome! The Targa is such a beautiful car, and I love that the hoop is in classic silver. On a similar note, big fan of GT Silver too!

 

The 991.2 is my favorite 911 of all time.. simply gorgous! While I would prefer a coupe with a sunroof, if you live somewhere where you can keep the top down year round the targa looks 10X better than a 911 cab, which I've always despised of. Oh, and GT silver is the best non-PTS color. Might be biased slightly.. I think a well-equipped 4S is the sweetspot in the modern 911 lineup.
