I've been driving my Corvette for about four years now and finally decided to step up to Porsche. Not that there is really anything wrong with the Corvette, I very much enjoy it as a touring car, but the 911 is so much more fun to drive fast!
Long story short, the 996 unfortunately turns out to have undisclosed transmission issues and I am in the process of figuring out whether to have it rebuilt or replace it with a used unit. Either way I plan on keeping it for some time to come as owning a 911 has been a long time goal.
