Hi All, Ive been lurking over the last year and thought I'd start posting.

Back in 2015 or so, I used to drive into work every day and see a black 911 GTS in the parking lot. I would stare at it and thought that someday I'd have one of those and decided I would buy one after I hit a certain goal. That time came and I had an excuse for why not to buy it and subbed in another goal. Eventually - I read a book called 'Die with Zero'. The title is a bit misleading - but the book is about being intentional about what you enjoy in life and going after it. I realized that I'm always going to have a reason why not to and so just decided to lean in and get one. I'd just been married a year and amazingly my wife was supportive of this since she knew that over the years, this was one thing I was very consistent about in terms of 'some day I'll get it'.

So the dream started to become a reality and I started doing research. I realized a 911 GTS while a great car, was not quite what I was looking for. When I was younger I spent a bunch of time at Auto-X and driving karts - both indoors and later on shifter karts and I decided I wanted something a bit different than the GTS and that is how I came to be the owner of a 981 GT4 as my first Porsche. Within 3 weeks of ownership I found myself at an Auto-X again and later on a Track day.

Have definitely caught the bug and am glad I finally ran out of excuses.
