Hi Gang,
I've had my 2008 Blue Cayman S for about 10 years now. It's a 6 speed with about 105k miles atm. I often google things to fix on it or troubleshoot and end up here. It's mostly stock except for the front indicator lights and stereo. My daughter and I recently had the opportunity of driving around the Daytona Speedway. That was the funest thing I've done with it lately. I'm looking forward to chatting with fellow Porsche owners.

August 2024, my Daughter and I got to drive around the Daytona Speedway.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Apparently, they do this annually for the general public. You get 2 laps for $50 at 55mph max. It's put on by the nascar foundation. I had seen pictures from last years, so I knew about where they were taking pictures. I also had some numbers from when I use to autocross, so I thru them on my drivers door (24 for 2024)...lol. Looking at other pictures, I don't think anyone else had that idea. I told my daughter to stick her hand outside the window at the start line, but she was not paying attention to me. There were hundreds of vehicles there. I saw a few Porsches, lots of vettes, some chargers, then surprisingly, lots of trucks and SUVs also. It was a fun day.
