997.2 Turbo S or 981 GT4: My first Porsche.
Hi All,
First post here! I will go over my brief history of cars and my wants on which is likely the best fit for me. I am currently driving 2015 Nissan GT-R and I work from home for the most part, roughly averaging 5-7k miles a year. Before I ever ended up purchasing the GT-R I was honestly hoping to see if I could get into a 997 Turbo back in 2018 but I think they appreciated when I was ready and was out of budget. I think when I started getting interest back in 2016 they were in thes 70-80k range. Past sporty cars 2013 M3 Coupe, 2017 M3 Sedan, and a 2007 B7 A4 sedan. I use my car maybe a couple times a week for random errands, to the 1-2 spirited drives a month I go on during the summer around the bear mountain area. I feel like now that I am ready to get the 997.2 Turbo/S, at this price point there are a lot of options and I am currently cross shopping with a 981 GT4. Hoping to get some insight into this first world conundrum, cheers! - Benny
Porsches I have driven so far:
2015 Caymen S - road
2016 GT3RS - road
2014 C4S - road
991.2 GT3 PDK - on road and racetrack event
