Long time lurker, first time poster. Currently at a point in life where I want to buy a Porsche and can justify the cost. While I grew up wanting an air cooled 911, I'm now leaning towards a 981 or 987 Boxster as a nice weather weekend car, in large part due to the smaller size; modern 911's just feel huge to me. I've owned a lot of turbocharged 4 cylinder hot hatches (GTI, WRX STi, Golf R) over the years, and it's time for some new experiences with top down, NA mid-engine layout, on a chassis designed for handling from the start.
