Just intruding myself. I’ve been looking for a 928 for awhile off and on. Most I’ve found were overpriced basket case projects. While not out of the realm for me as I’m a service manager and lead tech in a shop the right car never found it way to me. My son stumbled across a nice 1983 928 local to me with 50,000 miles. Hasn’t run in 5 years. Has good service history and has only been serviced at Porsche. While not perfect certainly is a good start and the price was right. It checked all the boxes except would have preferred manual. But the car will detail out nice. I managed to get it up and running after getting it to work and now I’m left to maintenance and repairs.
