hello , bought a 2005 cayenne s 4.5l with 226k .
this truck was purchased for 3k and it had a list of issues including oil leaks at the valve cover, noises in the front end, check engine light, two bad/bald tires, cv axles leaking grease, various oil leaks, headliner sagging and little other things.
what have you guys seen a lot on these 955's with the 4.5L ?
i am currently having issues with the charging system, i pulled the alternator and unsoldered the voltage regulator to find burnt/melted solder
fingers crossed this is it and so i ordered a VR for $30 vs $300+ for a re man alternator.​​​​​​​
