Kumar here. New to Porsche ownership starting with 2022 Macan S after selling Audi RS6 2021, here to gain detail a deeper understanding of Porsche, and to get some answers from the experienced community members.

 

I want to know why you let an RS6 go? That's an awesome wagon! I have both a Porsche ('07 Carrera S) and Audi ('08 A3). I find the engineering and feel to be similar between the two.

 

2021 RS6 was a pain. Recalls with no fix (fuel indicator) , bad Audi customer support, whenever I asked anything, answer was always please check with dealer, MMI issues, Wheel alignment issues (got is aligned at Audi dealer I think 4 to 5 times) and lastly when I got to know alternator is failing in 2021 RS6 and the wait time to get the parts was more than 6 to 8 weeks it was time to sell if off before I start running into the major issues. Recently I got a recall notice for rear back camera software.
RS6 is a good wagon but only if it's made with quality parts, and recalls are addressed asap.

It was a good time thought for 16months but eventually not destined for long term
