First Porsche for me!
Hi everyone,
I’ve been a sports car enthusiast since I was a kid, and owned many cars. I’m now retired and it was time for my first Porsche to keep me busy. I purchased a 1984 944 in beautiful condition with 65k documented miles. It was owned by a former Porsche chapter president (Miami) that kept complete records, from the original purchase order and window sticker, letter of authenticity, all maintenance records, registrations, show trophies and newspaper articles with him and the car all in a 3 ring binder and boxes.
I plan on doing the general maintenance, it doesn’t really need much else at the present time. I hope to meet all of you on the forum and local meets here in NJ.
Bob

To keep it totally original, or make some minor modifications to improve performance? It is original “ to the bone” now.
For example, change the AFM and ECU for modest performance gain and reliability?
Not sure what strategy to take. “ if it ain’t broke….don’t fix it?”
