Just bought a 2006 Boxster S Manual Transmission with 80+K Miles and have been researching the best approach to addressing a couple of issues with the vehicle. This is my first Porsche and it was previously owned by a close friend who kept detailed records.

The most annoying issue is the transmission popping out of 2nd gear (which I knew about and experienced pre-purchase). Looking to do some wrenching myself to get this fixed and address some cosmetic issues (worn dials / switchgear etc.).
