Default 997.1 C4S

Hi all,

Back in July of this year I got into a 997.1 C4S and have been enjoying it since! This site has been great in helping me understand what to look for so huge thanks to all who contribute with their experiences and expertise!

Good to be on here myself now.

Hi
Thanks for the info. I took a close look at the photos of the car and see this..

you can see a drop of coolant on the silver pipe and if you look close, at the black pipe with two nuts visible see pink crust on them. My 997.2 had the same issue and it’s a 4K repair. I told the sales guy about it. He said there is no leak. I beg to differ, as there is evidence that shows otherwise. It’s not at a Porsche dealership, just a high end used car shop. Soooo I might pass this up, I’ve got an appt to see a 2019 C4S at a dealer with CPO till 2025 and prepaid maintenance too.
