Finally giving in to my obsession in Raleigh NC
Howdy - I don't have a Porsche yet, but I've begun looking in earnest. I've thought about it for a long time, loved 911s since I was a kid (in the 80's), figured it's time to do something finally now that I can afford it. Wish I'd done it before all the 80's 911 Turbos started selling for $150K, but better late than never.
Joined the PCA 'test drive' club, will be starting to go to the Triangle area meetings this month. I'll be searching the forums, but happy for input on good models/years/engines for buy for tracking, and any to look out for with problems with the same. I figured all this stuff 10 years ago with BMWs, now I guess I get to do it all over again - but I'll love every minute of it.
