I have been working on a 3.2 G50 backdate project for some time with a build thread on another forum. Now I've gotten the bug to order a new 992 as well. Probably will do so this summer while continuing the old car restoration project. I'll be asking some questions in the 992 forums as I plan to order this thing. And if you are curious to see the progress on an all-steel backdate hotrod project that I'm doing at home, I'll keep you up to date on that too.
