im currently rebuilding my 69 Type 3 VW but my kid needs his first car. I told him “if I’m paying for it, it will be my car that I let you drive.”

he can buy what ever he wants with his own money. I’ve always been impartial to the 914. They’re kinda the red-headed step child of the Porsche world, at least to my knowledge. No offense intended. So I’m looking for a cheap, no rust version that my kid and I to rebuild. It can be his first car and I get to have one of my dream cars...

of course, he’s trying to talk me into a 1st Gen a Miata... well see what the wife says....
