Hi everyone,
Greeting from the Paris of the Midwest: Detroit. I had a 1986 944 when I was in college (won at a US government seizure auction in the 90s for $1,200) and I was in love with that car. That's where the Porsche bug came in. Since then I've had / have BMWs (i3s and a 1972 2002) an an occasional Audi, but just yesterday I'm back in the P-car game with an Arctic Silver 1999 996 Cabriolet with full graphite leather. I know the 996 isn't the most loved Porsche, but I think I looks and drives great. Plus, this car means a lot to me. I've always dreamed of having a 911. I had tons of Carrara posters hanging up on my wall when I was a young man, and now I finally have one. It's a big moment for me and thanks for letting me share.
