Welcome to Rennlist. Doing it right. Join and learn the ins and outs before narrowing down to a specific model. We have great info in the 996 threads.

Thank you I’ve been lurking for a few months seeing what I can learn. I’ve driven 911s before and have a few years on the autobahn with my S6..but being back in the states I can’t be going 150+miles sustained any more so great time to jump in to a 911 after the raptor not much is left in the budget for a sports car but I feel from what I’ve seen I can snag a decent 996 for under 30k and put about 6-8k 10 if I need to do IMS and have a really fun canyon carver for the weekends

I had a 2006 Cayman S. Prices are in the 20's on those and it does have the later 987 engine with a bit better IMS set up. 3.4 but the Cayman was fun. Got choices!

I’m 6.3 so the Cayman was a bit tight and the 911 I can put my kids in the back in an emergency
