Just heard from a PCA bud that they are trying to get more meetups/drives going in our geo. All are welcome, P-cars or not.

Details:
"The first gathering of the Rhode Island & South Coast Porsche's and Coffee gang is scheduled for 10 AM, 7 July on Aquidneck Island. It will be at Custom House Coffee, located on the north end of the island, Rt.114 (W.Main Rd.). A side road (King Charles Drive) provides access to their parking lot. This location is convenient and should not be impacted by heavy beach traffic."

This is a work in progress, nothing cast in stone...will be shaped by what each of would like to do in the future, so come on down!

Hi Phil,

the details you mentioned were part of a regional PCA email that went out last week. Jill & I may check it out since I think its only about 5-7 miles from my home and Saturday is supposed to be nice.

Also, the Taunton C&C is plannng a drive (its not a PCA drive) for August 12 (with the 19th as a possible a rain date). The drive would be through part of RI and into Pomfret, CT, hope you can join us.

all seem to agree that the weather, people & cars that were displayed sunday was a great mix. being the "new guy" i had a super time. i'm thinking that a few chairs, a cooler, and portable gas grill would ad to the viewing. but to do that i might need the pick up, so i say nah. you guys are stuck with me and my ess.

I won't be making it to the 15th. I have the Cars for Canines event at 10 a.m. in Randolph that morning and the Capable Adventures debut at end of the day. This and the next month are going to be super busy with events.

Mark it was a pleasure to meet you and talk cars. I'm a big fan of the E39, it's actually the last model 5 series that I really love.

Feel free to invite them. While we are largely Porsche enthusiasts, several of us also have and bring other brands. We are "Car People" and we welcome other brands and their enthusiasts so if you have other car crazy friends by all means bring them.
