RolexNJ, great to meet you at Carl's GTG. Lots of fun had by all ![Cheers](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/beerchug.gif)
I believe the final count was 15 Sharks and 1 951 representing the Porsche spectrum. Hopefully, in the near future there will be another 951....

That's so funny that your cars are called sharks. I'm also a BMW fanatic, and one of my most favorite cars is the E24 6-series, the original one from 1976-1990, and they're called sharks or landsharks as well as the 1st gen 7-Series and the 3.0CSi and relatives. Wish they would bring that look back!

Well, I went to the auction on Saturday, and I asked a staff member about the show. She said that they never reschedule events because not as many people show up for the rain date as they would if it were held on the original date. That sucks.

It's unfortunate that the local PCA is geared more towards track events. They were quick to set up a new date at Watkins Glen whey the original date was cancelled, but not the concours.
They host maybe one drive to VT every year and another in Wester MA but the latter is not really a drive, it's more like big GTG. And forget about shows, the one event that is hosted at Larz doesn't follow any guidelines for concours.
A true club would have a diverse set of functions and not just focus on one or two.
They also do not properly advertise the events IMHO. I found out only recently that a PCA show was held in CT earlier this year and I didn't receive anything about the show in Upstate NY (Corning) until I looked at the newsletter the month prior. Why don't they use email more often and send out blanket reminders at least 2 months prior?
