Had a great ride! Almost got lost the 1st 5 miles, since slow traffic got between the tail end and the rest of the group. Luckily, the run instructions allowed me to catch up.

Your 997 is sweet and I have to say the seats are both comfortable and supportive. Maybe on the next drive I can sit copilot for a few minutes to get a feel for the newer cars.

Seriously though John, again with the great pics, and I second the "take the keys" offer if you want to go to a 911 that's perhaps not quite as "cushy" (and doesn't have a Garmin GPS / Phone Home ET button)

This Sat., the 17th, meeting at same starting point as last Sun, Berkley, Ma. We have had requests to do same run. We will do a modified version, but will hit the "Forest" again! Meeting time 7:00AM.

That run through the forest was a blast and now that my alignment is correct it should be even more fun!

Going to be rolling out the Beer Tasting tomorrow afternoon, if anyone's looking for an excuse to try some not-so-common beers, hang out for an afternoon / evening then perhaps the Pats game, lemme know & I'll forward directions / cell number.

Plan is around 2pm-ish start, for however long.

If I can get my shifter together by Sunday I would be interested as well. Bad timing on my part for restoration, I should have waited a month. Oh well.....

Judging by the forecast this Sunday night may be the end of the driving season until spring......have to wait and see I guess.

Hi guys,
There is some rumbling on the Pelican parts forum: "east coast junkies"
thread regarding this weekend. I am tied up with work, but there area a few guys that are interested in doing something. Bob and Mark have put together a route for the Cape, so maybe you guys could meet up with them.
Also, Jim Logan is trying to put together a run next weekend to Vt., that is also posted on the Pelican Site.

Pelican's down right now (for me).

I just ordered a replacement electrical-side ignition switch, but nobody had one I could get my hands on for this weekend, so I'm out. If it goes on, have fun guys.
