Beware of Exotic Car Club of America LLC - Methuen, MA
🚨
Good day RL, just wanted to forewarn others of the shotty business I encountered dealing with Exotic Car Club of America LLC as a parts vendor. James/Jim H. Smith ordered an OE Porsche Emblem for a 991 Carrera from my company through the eBay marketplace. The part was delivered to this individual at his home address directly from one of my suppliers, FCP Euro via shipping carrier UPS with a clear delivery photo.
Client claims the box was crushed and the emblem was received cracked/damaged. We requested photos of the damages, box, etc and offered to send a brand new replacement, all of which is outlined in our terms of service posted to all marketplace listings. We recieved no response for nearly three days until the return was initiated/return label provided.
The original delivery photo from UPS does not show ANY box damage at the time of actual delivery (see below). Client has mailed the original shipping box and the part to me as an eBay approved return. Upon opening the return, there were two used/empty water bottles, minimal packing material and the cracked/damaged part which has been opened from the original protective packaging and clearly swapped for a damaged part. Why would you open a received damaged part otherwise?
These negligent and deceitful actions have been fully documented and reported to eBay, the Better Business Bureau and being posted here. Please be aware of these issues experienced. I respectfully would not trust this dealership or their owner Jim Smith with any of my personal information, my vehicle(s) or to conduct any sort business within the automotive industry based on this poor experience, lack of integrity and professionalism to a fellow enthusiast and business.

The photo provided directly by UPS at the time of delivery does not show or alert to any such damage. Dealership/James Smith sends the damaged part back in the original "damaged" box. Part received opened (clearly swapped) and cracked between letters a-r along with two used water bottles inside the returned package.
