Event: RaceMotive 1/3 Mile Roll-Racing (verified start and finish speeds)
Location: Pocono Raceway, Long Pond, PA
Date & Time: Sunday July 21, 2024 (9AM-5PM)

Later this month I (as well as a handful of others from the forum & local Porsche groups) will be racing at Pocono Raceway for RaceMotive. I've you've never been, this is an awesome event to come experience the full potential of your car in a fun, safe, and laid back environment. It is straight-line roll-racing on a legendary NASCAR track--which if you are unfamiliar is basically a race that start at 65 MPH or below, and continues for 1/3 of a mile to see your top speed. Start-speeds and finish-speeds are accurately captured and logged throughout the day so you can keep track of how you've done and compare the others.

The best part of this event is that you can have fun in any way you want. Come to just drive fast, race against yourself and your personal best, race buddies and others in similar platforms, or compete with your designated class. Race all day, race anyone and everyone. If you are new to roll-racing their staff or other racers are happy to give you a ride along to help you get comfortable.

Would love to see more forum members and more diversity in the type of cars that come out to events like this.
