Hey everyone - I'm soon (next spring) to be in the market for a Carrera S. Problem is I haven't had enough seat time to be sure that that's the model I'm looking for, or even that it's a 997 (debating vs 991). I have a potential 991 to drive, but am hoping someone with a 997.2 (ideally manual, but would drive PDK) would be kind enough to let me have a (tame!) test drive for 20-30 minutes in their car. I'm in northern MA, but wouldn't be opposed to a moderate trek, and obviously would welcome the owner to ride with me.

Are you a PCA member? You can probably go to the C&C or Porsche on the Mountain (https://porschenet.com/events/) even if you are not a PCA member, and then try to find 997/1 owners to pick their brains. I have not done a PCA DE in a couple years, so not sure if you had to be a PCA member (or paid participant) to walk around at a track day.
