I am probably going to do a Kancamagus run Saturday or Sunday AM this weekend. I will probably go early in the morning to avoid as much traffic as possible. I usually start at the Conway side then head over to Lincoln and back. When I come back I hit Bear Notch RD. If anyone is interested in joining let me know and we can meet up somewhere.
I drove up Bear Notch RD that was great mostly dry. I got about 3/4 of the way to the high point on the Kanc and turned
around it was 35 deg with rain and thick fog. I will go again soon when the weather is better.
We were in Ludlow, VT and Saturday, when we drove to Rutland, VT the temperature dropped to 37F in the rain going over the mountains.
Fortunately, my summer Contis kept the shiny (wet) side up...
...just a couple of bays previous, we were in the 80s pushing 90F...
