Is anyone going to the cars and coffee at Cafe Nero, legacy place in Dedham this Sunday (8-10)?

I saw the Cafe Nero on Instagram as well. No, unfortunately for me too much salt on the road currently for my liking.

 

I thought about it for about 15 seconds and ...

... then decided that dodging idiots with the winter beater Porsche a day after a snow storm wasn’t my idea of fun.

 

In for meeting up in Andover as well. Reservation Rd is a great little jaunt locally. Anyone else have some faves?

I think that was a post from February. There is a cars and coffee in RI Sunday I know it’s a long drive, but I was thinking about going and then doing the cliff walk with my wife after. I just didn’t know what the Covid requirements are now.

How often does it happen at Legacy Place? I am close to Dedham, but don’t think I can make it tomorrow. I will come out some time if it is an on-going meet, and can probably convince friends to go. I can also show people some great local roads

 

I'm not sure...but maybe there are enough of us on here to set one up as the weather gets better?

 

I can't make it tomorrow since I don't have my car inspected currently...looking forward to the next meet up. Up for anything between Andover and NorthShore area.

 

The NER-PCA Facebook page has postings about the "Pop Up Cars and Coffee". Last weekend there was a C&C at Assembly Place down in Somerville. Tomorrow is the second I've heard of down in Dedham.

Last time it was in the low 20's out and the turn out was mostly Cayenne/Winter cars. Probably 6 996 variants, a couple 997's and my Cayman.

I'll post on here next time there's a scheduled C&C.

There is the non-club related C&C in Andover that has been going on for a couple years. I will post those dates once I find them.

Are you in this area? I would be up for something like a local monthly C&C/drive, if so. We have great roads in the metro-west area (Dover, Sherborn, Weston, Lincoln, etc), so some kind of C&C/drive would be great. I know DS roads really well, so maybe we try to find locals to each area to map out a post-coffee route?

Feel free to PM me if anyone is in this area and wants to go for a ride/drive!

We have two young kids, so driving an hour away for a meet is not really practical; I save my “get out of kids” passes for the track


Ugh, I no longer keep track of NER events since I just used to do PCA track days, but should keep an eye on it. My buddy sent me a text later last night about this being a PCA C&C; I would have gotten everything lined up to go this morning had I known

Pretty sure I saw Bill Seymour in his 356 in Dover yesterday, so it would have fun to catch up with people I used to see at the track!
