I'd like to urge everyone who is planning to attend to pre-register at:

www.palmermotorsportspark.com

This will get you through the gate faster.

Also, there will be an area set aside for "significant" vehicles.

This hauler will be coming and a nice backdrop for the race cars.

All pre-registrants will get a free full color commemorative 18x24" poster

Regards,

.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to bring home the mahogany!
This is one of twelve 12x15” Porsche shield mahogany plaques we will be awarding at the Palmer Motorsports Park show on October 8th.
These are “People’s Choice” awards so the winners will be the cars that garner the most votes. Brake dust is ok! The categories are as follows;
* Best 1950-1959 * Best 1960-1969 * Best 1970-1979 * Best 1980-1989 * Best 1990-1999 * Best 2000-2009 * Best 2010- 2017 * Best in Show * Best Race Car * Best Front Engine Model * Best Rear Engine Model * *Highest Mileage Driven to Event*

Pre-registration is open at www.palmermotorsportspark.com . The first 100 entries will receive a complimentary event poster!
Remember this is a benefit for “Homes for our Troops”!
Thank you!

7. Best 2010-2017
8. Best in Show

This is just awesome..! Thanks Al, for pulling this together! As well...

Over the next day or two - I'll be posting in this thread asking for a couple of volunteers to assist with Parking, directing vendors, etc. I'll have some nice "swag" for those who offer to volunteer - and if you do - are also cordially invited to the Vendor Party Saturday evening...

And - this area of Massachusetts is spectacular this time of year - so, if folks are planning on arriving Saturday - please post back in this thread or PM me if you are looking for some beautiful local areas to visit beforehand...

Be back in a few with more details...

And oh - a shameless plug I'll have a bunch of early 911/912 parts available in the Vendor Garages. Jen is forcing me to clean up the garage & cellar - so, if she helps me load up the car, I'm sure I'll have more parts than I originally planned..?

Best to all..!

That would be cool - and as I'm cleaning our my garage, have quite a stock of early 911 parts, so I did a spot in the garage (Garage 20, to be exact )...

Also - on this link (<-click there) is a map which shows the areas. Outdoor spots are also available...

Anyway - see you there!

Hi John,

I just spent a few hours down in the storage loft getting a bunch of stuff together to go. Mostly 993 parts.

Here is a partial list I'm bringing:

993 Cabrio top frame and transmission
Cup II wheels
Unused Colgan Bras
Cover(s)
Boot bag
Windstop bag
Exhaust tips NB and WB
Windstop parts
993 black manual seats
Lenses
Assorted badges and wheel center caps.
996GT3 mufflers
993 mufflers

Did they decide the vendor party theme? Mexican or Polynesian?

Regards,

Al

We have a few PORSCHE Show updates for you!

Thank you to all who have pre-registered. We have had a few requests from vendors who wish to bring in their wares earlier on Saturday so we will open the gates to them at noon. If anyone has special needs or concerns please let us know!

Also, we do have some "kids" activities planned for Sunday.

Lastly, save some camera memory because all registered show cars at 3PM will be invited on track to do low speed laps! Porsches on Parade - where did I hear that before?

So, parking is $20 and for $10 more you get the chance to win a "Peoples Choice" award and do a few parade laps at the end of the day!

Your car does not need to be perfect to win - it just needs to have the largest tally of votes. Dust them off and bring them out!

We thank you and so does "Homes for our Troops"!
