I live in San Jose, btw . I bought my Cayman in 2014 from Fremont.
Yeah, I think it's really hard to get an allocation from a Bay Area dealer. I got really lucky and called just at the right time to a dealership in Vegas.
The order was just placed so there's no delivery date yet. I'm hoping it'll be the typical 4 months, but we'll see. I still love my Cayman so I'm not
in a huge hurry.

I read the thread about C4S that you started. I'm exactly in the same boat as you - I ordered C2S recently (expected arrival of late Nov), but saw that C4S now available in configurator.
I reached out to my dealer (Fremont Porsche), but the sales person said that they do not have any allocation for C4S yet.
It looks like you are in SF Bay Area. Do you mind sharing with me which dealer you got the allocation for C4S and when the expected delivery date is?
