Aug 27, 2022 02:00 PMI think if you decide on a wing, you need to get a splitter as well so the front doesn't get too light. That is what I found when I drove my car without a splitter for a pit. Additionally, I played with wing angle on my car and found i liked it agressive in high speed turns, but lightened fron on straight which was OK -
Aug 25, 2022 08:23 AMYes, $3500 sounds about right. Keeping it also makes sense, and what a wonderful piece of wall art it makes! For me, since I'm just getting back into HPDE's, I need to get a few track days under my belt to feel how much I really need a wing. I'm in the black run group, so by default, I'll know pretty quickly how squirrelly she feels at speed. Be well! Jon -

PS on Tacos... Did some searching on Rennlist during lunch... didn't see any tacos, but here's some of what I did see... 997 duck for $1400, $800 and $1700. A 996 GTRS wing for $4500. A RUF Rturbo carbon rear wing for $1400. 996 GT2 for $7500. GT3 for $3500. OY! Looking forward to hearing from you.
