Alex, I have a 2012 Panamera V6 and I'm interested in modifying the exhaust and perhaps the intake. I had a bad experience with my Boxster with a Techart Sport exhaust. Had a drone between 2000 and 3000 rpm which caused me to contiually to have to downshift to keep the revs up. It got louder with age to the point of removing it and going back to stock. I don't want to repeat the same experience. I have been in contact with Joey and has been cooperative but can't put me directly in contact with a v6 owner. I would like to speak to you. I have some questions about the sound and also the options of putting the mufflers, the cross tubes and the intake on separately and the benefits of each. Is there a good time to call?

    Hi Alex,
I have the Fabspeed oval tips for a 993 C2S. They do not bolt up to the stock 993 cans. What did I do?

    Thanks Mike

    Dear Joey

I am about to buy a new exhaust system for my 15 years old 993 (Year 1995), C2 (narrow body), Tiptronic. I have a few questions to ask before I make my decision.

    1. What are the different between Bischoff and Gillet type of exhaust/muffler? and which one should I use?
    2. I plan to buy your exhaust package, including Maxflo mufflers/modular sportcat/catbypass X-Pipe/CUP airbox/deluxe polished tips (without ECU upgrade) USD 2,495. Should I buy from ATV Galaxy in Ebay? I need to lower the invoice at USD 800 and declare as used part to save import tax.
    3. I use my 993 almost everyday. She is now 32,000 km. since 1996. Still running smooth. I need a basic set of exhaust package, not too loud for everyday use but yet aggressive when idle. Would you recommend the above package?
    4. Can I still use my stock muffler tips? Or can I buy the package without exhaust tips?
Look forward to hearing from you soon.
    Big

    Hello Alex,

how much will be the total cost with shipping to France for the rear fan bypass for a 964, are you sure it will be a perfect fit ? I bought one last year on ebay UK that did not fit at all, also does it have the 2 holes for the breathers ...
    thanks
    Konstantin
