    Hi Jim,

Do you still offer your services to increase brightness of a becker faceplate?

I'd love to have mine increased brightness, let me know cost/options.

    Thanks,
    Stephen

Hi Jim, I know this is an old thread but would it be possible to help me out please?
I have fitted a Porsche Becker CDR220 into my 944S2 and can't see the screen due to the polarized screen position.
I live in Belfast Ireland and have tried locally to have it modified without success.
    Can you offer any advice?
    Kind Regards
    Marino

    Hi Jim,
Just saw your Display Mod issue on CDR-220 viewing angle. Any chance of getting the information as how this is been done.

    Hi Jim,
Another display issue here. I'm big on getting my hands dirty and learning through fixing things myself. Any chance you could walk me through it?

    Hello,

Just picked up a BE4763 which I understand is essentially a CDR-220 with navigation (albeit really poor navigation).

This will be going in my Porsche 914. Do you still do the viewing angle modification? If so, how much and how do I get it to you?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I am just checking to make sure you have received a couple emails the past couple weeks. The first one can be eliminated. I sent them to your sirus account from for starts@aol.com.

    Hi there Jim,
    I've a 928, a CDR220 and this viewing angle problem.
We seem to have a lot in common.
Came around your solution, and would like to know what I should do.
My e-mail: schuurmans@ex-tra.eu, I'm Dutch, and would be happy to pay for your help.
Could send the display to the US, no problem (apart from demounting the display without braking stuff that is...).
Am really looking forward to your reply, as the dark display is driving me mad.

Cheers Nobbe (yes,...that's my real name...)

    Hi Jim,

Ive just joined the list. Ive an 85 928S that now runs like its meant to. All back to stock including the toolkit, compressor & jack. But the radio/tapedeck is 1985 vintage and broken. Do you still do the angle modification? & if so what is your fee for this service to mankind? There is a CDR-220 on Evil bay locally in Australia. (Im based in South Aust). my email is stephen.portelli@cba.com.au.
    Cheers
    Stephen

    Jim,

I'm new around from the other part of the world and interested in the 220 viewing angle mod. How can I contact you for the arrangement.
