Did I ever respond? I don't think I did, and never got this message! I ended up using no spacers in the front (oem fitment) and only 15mm spacers in the rear on some narrow body wheels (67mm offset if I recall correctly). I might yet go with 5mm front and 20mm rear. But I'm pretty happy with the setup at the moment.

I have a question for you.
Did you ever install the 28mm spacers on your 997?
If yes what are your experiences?
I have a 997.1 4S myself with the same turbo 2 wheels and just ordered 28mm spacers to correct the difference in offset and get the wheels flush.
The problem is that you see a lot of scary stories about too wide spacers and I don’t want to loose a wheel at high speed :-(
