Is the car still available? The reason I ask is my 996 just blew its engine (see my 996 forum thread for details, most likely IMS). I'm faced with replacing the engine for a whole bunch of $$ or moving up to a 997.
A couple of questions: why is your brother selling it? Was he the original owner? I note it has a decent amount of mileage, was it a daily driver? I'm not familiar with some of the 997 options—does it have PASM? I live in Carlsbad, so is it licensed in CA? Any other comments you can give me about the car?
