I read your posting and you said you replaced the TXV and receiver for the AC on your 911. What is the TXV ? Receiver ?
PLS explain it in VERY simple terms, as I am no mechanic. I ask, as my '85 911 AC blows air when the car is cold, but when the car warms up I presume the heat exchangers then start blowing hot air in to the cabin, as the original 25 year old heater doors/flaps are not fully closed, thus rendering the effectiveness of the AC.
Is there any effective way to get the door/flap to fully close off the hot air from the heat exchangers ?
While it would be great to have a function cold AC for the summer, I would prefer to not lose my heater in the winter.
Thanks and PLS advise.
