Coolant leak problem on the car- upper hose is brittle & possibly Need to change all cooling hoses too . Err... & I hope it's not the water pump leak when I bring to workshop next week.

My car AC leaks is located at the cooling coil-

When I bring my car at the Gadong shop recommended by many people- They change the drier, O rings, expansion valve- Rear & front. The rear ones was leaking. Change everything & still loses out freon/gas within hrs. they refill it with oil & also UV Dye.

So today(Saturday 5/23/2010)- I bring to Kiki AirCon for second opinion. They check everything- also try to located the dye previously put by the other shop.No sign of leaks- Take out the rear cooling coil- Soak it with water, wash it no leaks.
So refill it and test with their machine - Freon loses out very fast. & they use the electronic sniffer & strong beep sound found at the cooling coil area.

This Monday- I sent the car to kiki Aircon in KB to change the cooling coil- Kiki manage to source one in Bandar- for 500$ - 300$ labour charge. Tuesday car will be done.

This auto PK tensioner is good. The original Porsche tensioner need re-tension- I do not want to sent the car for Timing belt re-tension every few thousand miles. Like 1500 then 3000 Then 6000 Miles and so on for re-tension.

RNF is the good place for 928. Amin the mechanic there- knows 928. I showed him the pieces & he seems to know it's an auto tensioner that keep the belt tension correct at all times.

We are quite busy at the moment. I need to finish up something. My father wants to meet up next time once our car is done etc...

Now I hope our Air Con is OK. Will ask RNF to check. * hope it's not the cooling coil which will have to take the dash apart.

I'm also searching for the speedo relays online which I can't find a good Used ones. New one cost 200plus USD.

I have the feeling the "PSD- Differential" Anti lock ABS warning -& Speedo & odo" are all connected. I hope RNF can sort that out. Just hope is the relay as you state it the last time.

I sent you an SMS today. Just to inform- My Porken auto tensioner arrive yesterday & on the 26th April-i will sent the car to RNF for TB change which will take 2 days.

Also ordered spare keys from Australia. It works for the car.
