I'm trying to follow your instructions for a custom Alpine boot screen on my INE-S920HD, but the S920HD has a volume knob instead of a volume down button. I've tried turning the volume knob down and pressing the knob in, but the key sequence doesn't seem to be working. Could you please send me a copy of the instructions just for my own personal use, or could you just check to see if it says anything special about the S920HD?

I really appreciate your help with this stuff. The $100 fee the installers are charging to do this is extortionary.

Hello, I was looking at your instructions to change the ine-z298hd's boot screen. I attempted and the sequence didn't seem to work. Do you continue to hold the band key while doing the other buttons in the sequence? Thank you in advance.

Hello. I am not a Porsche owner, but you are my last hope as I have been reading your posts on the Alpine custom slpash screen. I have the Alpine s-920HD model which is from the same model year with the same options, but has the 6.1 inch screen instead and has different soft/hard buttons. I was going to try the method you posted on my 920hd, but do not want to mess it up.

Do you have the directions in your screen shots of the manual as to how to do it with the 920? Does it show the screen size as mine is a little smaller than the 800x480 you posted? Any help would be greatly aprreciated. Awesome Porsche BTW!!!!

The wheels have been great and I love the look. Ended up getting them off e-bay for about $700 a set. I tried using the electronic lowering modules but on my early production date 2004 it was not compatible. That is how I ended up with lowering links which were pretty easy to install. You can set the amount of drop and the factory adjustable system works the same. If you go too low it will impact your ride quality. If it is too rough you just reset the links for less of a drop.
