Mine was from the EGR diverter to the EGR itself. That hose was melted dried and cracking from the heat of the manifold.

When you say the EGR vacuum, are you talking about the vacuum that goes into that four-way diverter? Or are you referring to one of the vacuums after that four-way diverted it go to the EGR and the other little valves?
