Yes I spoke to that manager as well and he gave me a new SA, Eric Simila. I didn't discuss the discount with him. Did you get a discount on the car aside from whatever they do for them being delayed? I think I got 5% off but I wonder what will happen with new management.

I just contacted Hanns - he is no longer working at Porsche San Diego either - and says the store is under new management. I spoke with the sales manager and he gave me a delivery date of Sept 15. He is looking into what Porsche is doing to compensate for the long wait. Also mentioned a maintenance program. Hanz is also my SA. I will keep in touch if I hear anything and if I can get anywhere with some type of comnpensation. Looking at the threads Porsche North America gave the Panamera hybrid purchasers in similar situation $2500 discount plus 3 years free maintenance. If you ever want to me reach me quickly you can you can text me on my cell phone 858-245-6666

I live in San Diego also and it sounds like I'm in a similar spot as you. I ordered my 2019 Cayenne e-hybrid from Porsche San Diego. It arrived in San Diego port July 5 and now just heard that we are looking at late Sept-October for delivery. I also have concerns - like the rest of the thread - about getting a very late in the year model and how that will effect the resale value. I am buying the car not leasing. You can order a model year 2020 now. The dealerships are receiving their allocations now. I just wonder when a MY2020 would actually be delivered in the US. Can't really get any straight answer from Porsche. Sounds like some of the Panamera e-hybrid owners who suffered similar delays were asking for compensation in terms of discount and/or maintenance. I wonder what would be adequate compensation for the long delay and for the car sitting out in the hot sun and salty air for months. Good luck getting your vehicle. Let me know if you hear anything. Barry
