Thanks Newbie 911 picked it up in North Carolina in September and drop I back with my wife oner Labor Day.
    2002 TT
    6speed
stock as far as I can tell with 56k miles (has 60k now)
It had spent most of its life in Houston, (had to fix the "flying foam" from the vents when heat is turned on that seems to be indicative of the ones from hot weather climes) great, easy fix on Rent if you ever encounter it.... a little scary since you have to take the dash apart a little na cut the vent, but super easy and took 1.5 hours cause I took my time.

I live in Winchester, MA and as I mentioned I drove up to Stowe last Wednesday in some sloppy weather, but 4 snows and some caution made for a memorable ski and drive day.
Now that I have mine I am looking for excuses to drive it (work outta my home so committing is not a big deal with the 6spd) and the last thing I could bear would be to wait 4 months to drive it again.

    thanks for the warm welcome

Welcome to the forum. I love your car and the fact that you are using it as intended. I am looking for the same set up. How long have you had your 996TT? Where did you buy it? s it a manual or Tiptronic? It seems like there are not many around the Northeast. I hope to find one this year. I have put my 2013 C2S away a few weeks ago. Life is too short not to drive a 911 for 6 months. I live in Concord NH.

    Thanks very much,
    Constantine
