Hi Redcar .... There are about 6 or so 928s in Tassie that I know of, plus my two, but I only know of three around Hobart. I live in Kingston, just south of Hobart. I know that some owners are members of the Porsche club, and go on drives with them, but I have my weekends taken up with other things, so don't do any Porsche 'socialising'.
