Hello all you porsche men, I am glad to be registred now , let me introduce myself , 58 year old , live in Holland and grazy about porsches,
Iam building an engine for te 2.4 s, have a S case, with a good crank etc, nl engineering barrels, 9.5 cr je pistons, s throttle boddies, heads to be machined to S specs.
The mfi pump I have is a 2.4 E .
I want the engine to be between a E and S spec , as I will drive it on the road , and want some liwer end torque , but would be happy with a bit more hp than the 165 from the E engine.
Been in contact with John Dogherty and he adviced me on a DC 30 cam, which seems good and I think I will order them, he just could not give me confirmation how it would work with the E pump.
Now the question, had any one done this build? Is there annyone that can give me good advice on this subject?
