    Ron,

    It's quite a project to replace those cables, but, like I said in previous posts, you do NOT have to remove the entire top from the car by cutting out the urethane-bonded roof frame like Porsche tells you to. You simply have to unbolt and pry the extruded aluminum channel away from that side of the car and carefully coil the new cable and feed it in slowly without causing any sharp bends in the cable. Definitely a two person job.

    I have pics of the the channel slightly pried away from the roof frame but it won't let me send it to you. Perhaps because you're a new user. IDK
