Go your email about finding a 993. Yes they are rare and getting rarer and more expensive as time passes by. It seem they have spiked in value in recent months too.
It took me 2 years of searching to find my first one, and another year to find my second one. Both were out of state finds. Chip Vance over at Auto Assets is also a good source to "find" cars.
It does depend on what you are looking for, the more specific, the longer it will take to find a good one and then if it is a good one, you will need to move fast, as the common "good ones" will not last long on the market if priced right. If you have not already, you may want to consider joining the Porsche Club of America (PCA) and we have a regional branch in central Ohio MORPCA which holds various Porsche related events.
