Here's the interesting part. A short time after losing the car I was talking to Tim Holt (via phone), he owns a used Porsche dealership in West Chester, PA ...known for high prices but nice cars, and we, somehow, came to talking about this car. He said that he had gone to look at it and that he rejected the car as it was not corect. For me this was great news as now I could stop lamenting losing the car to another buyer (in addition I found a good deal much closer to home....wish I still had it as the air cooled cars are going through the roof here).

I never saw the car in person.

I don't specificly remember what Tim Hold didn't like about the car althoug I would say you would probably want the car gone over thoroughly.

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Jamie

    Hello,

Here's what I can recall. I was searching nationwide for a 993 that would find it's way to track duty. This car was located in Kentucky (about 14 hours from me by car) and I spoke with the owner who, if I can recall corectley, said something like it was his father in law's car and that the salvage title was a result of some room damage and that there had been repairs to the roof and the sunroof. Again, my recolection of the actual phone call is fuzzy.

I do remember very clearly when I learned that the car was sold (via phone call from the owner)...I was in Wash., DC with my girlfriend and was very dissapointed, which is about right for me. So much so that my girlfriend was rather pissed seeing as I was carrying on like a baby whilst where were on vacation.
