Evening, the above post references - Try not do to take off the external controls, It can be a hassle to fit the external control mechanism back into the switch body as the pins have mate to micro-switches for correct operation.
I have the switch off and two spring micro-switches fell out but cannot figure out how to put the springs in to get it all back together. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I am bringing this beast back from the dead in every sense. be well - porsche speed

I realize this is a little personal, but I am contemplating selling my car and it is VERY similar to yours. Do you mind telling me how much you got for the vehicle and where the buyer came from, i.e. autotrader, ebay, rennlist etc?

Hey Fergus. So going to a fancy schmancy 996 eh! Good for you. I'm sure you'll love it. My ultimate goal is to have a "stable" of Porsches in my garage. They include, 86' 951, '87-89 911, '84-87 928. I like that era and would keep them all relitively stock. First, of course, I have to concentrate on keeping the one I have.
Let me know if you are selling any thing else from your car as my financial picture could change at any time.
Are you getting the 996 soon? I would love to have a look when you get it. If you're storing it at your place, I'll come up and have a peek. I'll be putting mine away mid-November. I've had a few things go amiss this fall. Nylon clip that holds adjustment bar for heat/cold settings broke - now blows hot all the time, my clutch master cylinder is leaking, and I need 2 new cv's/shafts. Common stuff, but it will have to wait until spring to fix as I am unable to work on it where I am storing it.
    Best of luck, Mike
