Wild Yes! that's cool. I agree your T is highly spec'ed. Pretty awesome, I'm happy to hear you built it for you and are intending on keeping it, that is how it should be! I plan on keeping mine as well.
If you are not interested in making the PIWIS + Power supply investment Jeff Whitten and I are both going down that route. I am gathering all of the PIWIS programming 'recipes" in a personal wiki I keep for this sort of thing. After I fully document and vet the process I am more than happy to walk you through the mod using my setup.
I have the Matrix LED recipe and I am working on obtaining the rear tail light Enabled when Daytime running lights are on. I am also looking for other 'features' to mod. These cars are rolling computers, simply amazing.
I just received my 100A power supply today, I am building a Pelican case with 13.5V@100A supply, power meter and #2 cables. I wanted something self contained and portable.

The wait is killing me... I don't work far from Fremont Porsche so at lunch I drove up to see one of my shipmates!
I spent a few minutes looking over the new arrivals, including yours!

I know you were looking into the Matrix LED enable with Anthony. I'v decided to try and do the modification myself with the help of other RListers. I read that Anthony increased his price for the modification.

    Again Congratulations! Exciting times!
